Divine Intervention reflects an evolving journey of belonging and what home means, tracing my family’s generational movement from Korea to Japan to Hawaiʻi, and my own to Los Angeles.
The Yatagarasu, a three-legged crow in Japanese mythology believed to be a divine guide sent by the sun goddess, appears as a symbol of direction, protection, and movement across time and place. Alongside the California poppy and a surrounding lei, it points to resilience, the passage of time, and the collective histories that shape identity and community.
