"This is my take on the classic Universal monster, The Creature from the Black lagoon.  He also represents myself as a kid, as I was (and still am) enamored with monsters and creatures from the movies.  As a kid, I was always making my own masks and make-ups and would consider myself a "monster kid", and a "creature boy". He also represents the outsider, and the misunderstood, that many of us feel as a young person."
