The work is a mosaic mirror evocative of a locket, and composed of broken dishes saved over my lifetime by my mother, myself, family, and friends. My mom would host these incredible parties throughout my childhood, and often later in the night there would be a ceramic casualty with a story. Each piece holds different memories of people and places of deep personal meaning, but I hope it reaches beyond me.
