This painting is inspired by the street I grew up on in Simi Valley, CA.  In the late 90's, my friends and I would spend every evening after school skating around the neighborhood.  We made skate spots out of anything, we probably waxed almost every curb in the condo complex I lived in.  It's a simple painting of an everyday occurrence, but sometimes it's those little things that hold the best memories.
