This piece presents a reflection on the physical artifacts of a virtual childhood. My hands hold onto three Nintendo 64 cartridges: Mario Kart 64, Conker's Bad Fur Day, and Pokémon Stadium. These games housed the lobbies that felt like real places occupied by my consciousness. In my mind, they mean a lot to me. How many of our real memories are just screenshots of a digital world?
