"During WWII, General McArthur did not save the Philippines. US imperialiam returned to reapply its colonial rule from the Japanese to simply protect their interests. In fact, the U.S. concentrated its air bombardment and artillery fire on the Filipino people and their homes in late 1944 and early 1945 to pave the way for their re-subjugation. The Japanese Imperialist competed with the US empire in inficing mass slaughter on the Filipino people. As soon as it returned, US imperialism maneuvered to disintegrate the Filipino revolutionary forges who aimed for true independence from all colonial influences. We still find traces of American imperialism in the pantries of other nations through the Spam product, which were introduced by US Army bases."
