"This is a painting that I started many years ago-- the canvas shows wear and tear from moving with me through the chaos of past years. I finally had the creative urge to complete this piece as I feel it's a perfect embodiment of the show's "Resilient" theme. We may want things to move at a certain pace, but we have to trust the way the universe and life unfolds for us. There is always something more to appreciate and strive for even at times where we feel incomplete."
