This piece comes from observing the moments that exist within everyday life and labor. I was interested in the atmosphere surrounding the flower vendor, the light, the stillness, and the sense of reflection within an ordinary moment. A lot of my recent work focuses on the humanity and emotional presence that can exist within scenes often passed by in plain sight.
