This painting was made over the course of a month, right after the presidential elections and then the LA fires. There was so much turmoil in the city, and I just kept thinking that, no matter what happens, moving forward is our only option. The imagery in the piece features people, and a car, all moving in the same direction. To me, if we can all come together as a community, with the same overall goal in mind, moving forward together in the same direction is what will ultimately save us.
