"There’s something about water-bearing creatures… they carry memory, mood, and mystery. I’ve been thinking a lot about what we hold in silence—grief, transformation, intuition. Things that don’t speak in words, only in weight.  The ear felt important—this idea of being open, being vulnerable to something ancient and fluid. The frog isn’t just a symbol, it’s a witness. Maybe even a guide. Maybe I needed a witness.  “Where Water Listens” is less a painting and more a moment I needed to create—a private, surreal encounter where the body meets the elemental. Where quiet things are finally heard."
