"This painting was inspired by our shared human experiences both seen and unseen. The linework is based on a diagram of visual perception, which overlaps two hands coming together and two flowers growing from a single stem. The Figaro chain framing the piece symbolizes connection and rhythm through the use of an object that is commonly seen as a physical token of memory and identity."
